Made in the USA the Stetson Open Road 2 is new to  the Open Road series. Constructed of two-tone natural/tan Shantung straw with a firm finish it has a 4" (approx.) regular oval crown and 2 3/4" brim. Features include all-around venting, sheepskin sweatband with a tan grosgrain ribbon band  and Stetson pin.
 
Please note that the venting has a tendency to be wavy and uneven.

    I couldn't be happier with this hat. It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures! It will definitely be my go-to hat for the summer.     I have always had Open Roads and I have always had nice straw hats of several genres. Why it took me so long to acquire a straw Open Road is a mystery. This is really such a beautifully made hat. There is great subtlety to the weave that I did not expect. I don't know if the original Open Road straw has these subtle details ... Man! What a hat. The only thing that could have made it better is to have a Stetson box for it.
